adArt is locally owned and operated by Deb Walch who is supported by a team of practicing artists.
The Walch family business specialised in bookbinding, art and stationery supplies for over a hundred years. The beautiful Georgian building in Macquarie Street, Hobart still bears its name.
While running the art department there for many years, Deb accumulated a huge knowledge about the range of supplies required by local artists, architects and specialist crafts people.
Deb opened the doors of adArt in 2003.
