PRINTMAKING

Printmaking is a traditional technique of making an impression onto paper.  Whether you are etching, relief or mono-printing we have the supplies to get you started and keep you going.

Etching

​​Charbonnel etching inks both oil based and aquawash, burnishers and economy etching needles, tarlatan by the meter, soft and hard ground.

​We stock acid free boxboard and shellac flakes which can be used to make the collagraph plates.

 

Relief

​For woodblock and lino printing we have Caligo safewash inks and Derivan Block Printing Inks.  Plates are traditional grey lino, double sided soft vinyl plates, and Japanese plywood and magnolia wood blocks.  Carving tools include Japanese wooden handle sets and deluxe Edward Lyons sets. We have Bamboo and plastic barrens.
